Aligning modules in vessel construction can be time consuming  due to the critical nature of the assembly process.

GEO-Laser has been working hand in hand with the marine surveyors at the German shipyard in Papenburg of Meyer Werft to develop an optimised alignment system for their block construction on the vessels - resulting in a vastly more efficient measuring method.

Using specially developed plumb lasers and electronic target boards, the position of the relevant components can be checked and corrected in real time via RF commands.

Waiting times between survey and positioning are almost eliminated - resulting in a win-win in terms of quality and efficiency.
