Power Your PVA I-V Unit or SolSensor in the Field with Solar or External Battery Pack

This field charging kit enables you to charge your PVA I-V unit or SolSensor from solar or from an external battery pack for those extra-long days in the field. The kit includes a 28W folding solar panel, external battery pack capable of re-charging an IV unit or SolSensor twice, and two charging cables compatible with the PVA. Works with the PVA-600+, PVA-1000S, and PVA-1500xx.

PVA-1500xx: I-V measurements can be performed when the solar panel or external battery pack is connected to the I-V unit or SolSensor. Firmware version 1.4.273 or later is required. A PVA-1500xx can be easily upgraded, if needed, via the PVA application.

PVA-600+ and PVA-1000: I-V measurements can not be performed when the solar panel or external battery pack is connected to the I-V unit.

When the internal temperature of the I-V unit is above 50 degC (which can happen after many repeated I-V sweeps at high voltages) the I-V unit will not charge or operate from the solar panel or external battery pack.

This field charging kit enables you to charge your PVA I-V unit or SolSensor from solar or from an external battery pack for those extra-long days in the field. The kit includes a 28W folding solar panel, external battery pack capable of re-charging an IV unit or SolSensor twice, and two charging cables compatible with the PVA. Works with the PVA-600+, PVA-1000S, and PVA-1500xx.
